I recommend Owen Latham for teaching and tutoring. I have known Owen for 3+years, ever since He began working as Special Education Teacher with my son at Berkeley High School. He is a hard worker who is willing to take new challenges every day to impart instructions and create an excellent learning environment. His instructional methods are quite modern. He contributes immensely to our son by providing instructional support and development. What I found to be Owen‘s best asset is his ability to utilize appropriate language and positive attitude to interact effectively with students.  As a model of good behavior, He is in a league of his own and can provide extra instructional support based on individual student assessments. We are so thankful to have Owen as a teacher.

My daughter had the privilege of experiencing Owen Latham support for three years in high school as her IEP Case Manager. He was extraordinary in his commitment and level of engagement with her and us, her parents. He built a strong relationship with her, he tracked her and when she was faltering, he stepped in to provide the appropriate intervention. He was knowledgeable about her learning disabilities and developed good options /strategies that supported her growth and skills development in managing her challenges. He was kind and compassionate and held her accountable to do her part.

I am certain that she would not have graduated high school without his steadfast support. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Owen took the time to get to know our son as a person so that he could effectively help him learn in the way the best worked for him. Mr. Owen is very knowledgeable in math and technology and is able to throughly explain the lessons so that our son not only understood them but did well in his classes.
